Bathroom is a small silent room where you can find time for yourself and enjoy the warm bath. So it is not only about the lamps and fixtures but also about developing some that extra which will turn you on and you will move towards the bathroom.
During the construction and renewing of your bathroom, always bear in mind about the electrical installation as it is the key constituent. If you are considering changing the old pipes with the new ones then go for the cast iron rather than the inflexible plastic pipelines.
Gather knowledge about how electrification is done before you start the electrical fittings for your bathroom. You may need running new lines from the repair panel to the bathroom, or linking into the already existing circuits which is relatively easier to do it right after the structuring gets over.
To balance your mood for your bathroom the electric fitting has to be installed accordingly. If you are thinking of any electrical work to do for your bathroom then you have to get permission from your local building control department and this job must be carried out by an experienced electrician. What ever light you are fitting must be applicable for the bathroom use.
If you opt for a natural minimalist look, keep lighting unobtrusive with subtle recessed light fittings or flush spotlights. Large pendant lights and wall fittings with fabric shades will suit a retro design or a more traditional decor. Lighting contrasts will make the room seem bigger so consider back lighting alcoves and recesses.
If the bathroom lighting is chosen according to the requirements then it can be said that it is being done successfully like selecting the right lamps, placing them in the right places, using mirrors and defoggers at all the right places and in proper fashion. The important thing is to know how to stay away from the shadow trap.
It is recommended that recessed lighting fixtures is the most popular bathroom lighting trend today but if they are the only lights you are using in the bathroom you may fall into the shadow trap and may not be able to see yourself clearly in the mirror.
A halogen-recessed floodlight is quiet focused and can make you actually look scary just like when you place the flash light under the chin in the dark. To avoid such scary shadowing effects, use recessed floodlights in combination with other general forms of lighting.
