The MacBook Air by Apple is one of those laptops that everyone desires, mostly due to its simple sexiness!
The MacBook Air is one of the slimmest laptop on the planet. As made clear on their huge advertising campaign,
this laptop will fit in a manila envelope!
The keyboard on the MacBook Air has been very well thought out, and is a pleasure to type with. The separate buttons for keys makes typing errors near impossible, whereas on many laptops the keys are all joined and are likely to have some typing errors produced using them.
The 13-inch LED screeb surprises me. The screen is really energy efficient, unlike others on different laptops that use a backlight and therefore more power.
Despite it's power economic screen, the screen graphics are vibrant, bright, high quality and sharp!
Unfortunately, Apple only offers the screen with a glossy finish, so be prepared for impaired view when using this laptop outside.
Being extremely small, the Air doesn't have sufficient space to hold larger components such as a disc drive, or even a full-sized USB port. To overcome this, there is an adapter that will fit to a full-sized USB port and a sleek external disc drive that sits nicely beside the laptop when you need it.
Like all Apple computers, the Air runs the Leopard operating system. The only changes that have been made to it are to make better use of the touch pad on the laptop. The MacBook Air supports multi-touch hand generations to perform certain actions,
such as a three-finger swipe to go forwards or backwards in the default internet browser, Safari.
All in all, the Air's OS is just like it is on all Apple products; beautiful, functional and very easy to use.
The Air is an awesome piece of tech. The high pricing is the only thing that may stop you from sprinting to the store to get one of these. If $1500 is in your price range, this is the laptop for you. If $1500 simply makes you choke, maybe you should use a cheaper laptop, or look for something else.
