Roof is the most vital part of the home, so it is every home owners duty to look after it. Periodic roof inspections are very essential but it is not always advisable to climb up the roof top to check it. This can be very risky as there are chances of falling. Generally, a wooden roof last for approximately 30 to 40 years.
If you find a good amount of moss over the roof, check from inside the attic whether it is leaking through or not. Also, check the ridges. They should be well leveled otherwise can create problems.
